Nov 13th 2019: Heart Gallery Foundation Annual 'Knots of Love' Blanket Party

Tis the season for the Heart Gallery of New Mexico Foundation's annual "Knots of Love" blanket party!

It requires NO experience and NO sewing!

Those who participate need only to have love in their hearts for New Mexico’s most vulnerable foster kiddos and a pair of sharp scissors! We will be making blankets to comfort foster kids when they are taken out of their homes as well as Christmas presents for aged out foster youth.

Heart Gallery provides the fleece. They do accept donations of any amount to help pay for more blankets, but it is not a requirement.

Everyone is welcome. Bring a friend. Bring the kids.

This year they are also doing a toiletry, cleaning supplies drive.

Our HOPE CHEST cupboards are bare!

Supplies go to aged out foster youth living on their own with little or no support. These items and are hard to afford for these youth.

If you choose to participate our needs are:

Toilet paper, Deodorant, razors, shampoo/conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, lotion, laundry detergent, toilet bowl cleaner, window cleaner, disinfectant wipes, household cleaner, brooms/dust pans, toilet bowl brushes, mops
