Central NM + ABQ Metro-area CYFD workers are invited to join us for one of 2 events as we recognize and appreciate the best of the best for "March is Social Work Appreciation Month."

From 12pm-1pm, we will be hosting a 1-hour "lunch and learn" on Mitigating Vicarious Trauma: Healing the Helper’s Heart-- and again, lunch will be provided by Presbyterian Health Care. (We will also have zoom link available for those who can't join in person.)

Come for lunch and free food, stay for the presentation, enjoy raffles, gifts, self care stations, giveaways, and much more as we take a short moment to say: WE APPRECIATE OUR WORKERS AND WE WANT TO SAY THANK YOU!

About the Presentation:

Mitigating Vicarious Trauma: Healing the Helper’s Heart

Join us for an hour-long presentation to gain insight, self-compassion and skill in managing the impact of difficult work on our day-to-day lives.

Objectives:
•Understand that burnout/vicarious trauma are predictable outcomes of working with a traumatized population.

•Become aware of our personal experience with burnout.

•Develop a personal plan to replenish.
