April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. Child abuse and neglect is one of the Nation’s most serious concerns -- and specifically a concern in New Mexico, where child well-being has ranked 50th out of 50 for the last three years in a row. New Mexico has more children who experience adverse childhood experiences than any other state in the US.
